Welcoming New In-person Physicians to Cypress Cove

We are thrilled to share the upcoming arrival of two new physicians to Cypress Cove who will provide in-person patient care and leadership in the Medical Care Clinic operated by Cypress at Home as well as the healthcare neighborhoods at Cypress Cove – The Lodge, The Cottage and The Inn.

Dr. Nalinbhai Patel is a board-certified internal medicine physician with clinical interests in diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and geriatrics. He received his medical degree and completed his residency at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Patel comes to us most recently from Millennium Physician Group in Naples and also has extensive experience at a large life care community in Virginia.

Dr. Patel will serve as medical director of The Lodge at Cypress Cove and Cypress at Home, as well as provide support in our assisted living neighborhoods. He will provide comprehensive medical care with the team currently in place in all areas.

Dr. Patel will start working on February 14, 2023. He will visit with Cypress Cove residents at a meet and greet reception on February 21 at 3:30 in the Sandbar. Additional opportunities for residents and family members to meet the physicians will be published in CyPress and on K4.

In addition, Dr. Santokh Walha will also be joining us to provide in-person patient care on Fridays and as back up to Dr. Patel as needed. Dr. Walha received his medical degree at Dayanand Medical College in India and completed his residency in neurology at University of Arkanas. He has extensive experience in acute care, skilled nursing, urgent care and family practice, and has been in private practice in Fort Myers since 1998.
