Jonathan “Jon” Grady, RN has been promoted to Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON.) He was previously the Home Health Clinical Educator for Cypress at Home.
In his new role, Jon assists the Director of Nursing (DON) in directing and coordinating the clinical activities of Cypress at Home, responsible for the clinical team and quality of patient service in the absence of the DON. He supervises, analyzes, delegates and evaluates nursing activities and ensures patient comfort and care.
Jon’s supervisory expertise includes hiring, onboarding, coaching, disciplining, termination and competency evaluations. He also addresses client concerns in an appropriate and effective manner. In addition, he maintains and adheres to agency procedures and patient care policy manuals, including the application of federal and state regulatory bodies governing our industry.
Jon has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Curry College in Milton, Massachusetts and is currently working on a master’s degree in healthcare management. His nursing career includes experience working in the operating room, medical surgical unit, and home health.
